PLEDGING PARTNERS IN ACTION
“The support of the Pfizer Butterfly Community in partnership with Imerman Angels has helped so many Pfizer colleagues navigate their cancer journey.”
- Lynette Bojko, Pfizer Employee & Butterfly Community Co-founder

More than a decade ago, two Pfizer employees founded the Pfizer Butterfly Community, a program that paired employees impacted by breast cancer with other Pfizer employees that had gone through similar experiences. The community started small but quickly began to grow, and Pfizer saw a need to expand its reach beyond breast cancer. That’s when they partnered with Imerman Angels and created a Pfizer-specific mentor matching program that connects Pfizer employees with shared experiences. Today, the program has helped nearly 200 Pfizer employees find strength as they navigate challenging times and continues to evolve, aspiring to support those impacted by cancer as well as other life-changing chronic health conditions.
